Portuguese Music

A few years back, I got a call from a dear colleague, who was hunting for a musician to perform at an event, with a particular request for Portuguese music. Although the project never went ahead, it came as a unique opportunity to reconnect with my cultural roots. It opened the doors to a series of unexpected musical discoveries and inspiring encounters.

This thrilling journey of musical exploration eventually led to my first concert fully dedicated to Portuguese composers, a performance I was proud to share with different audiences. Along the way, I took great pleasure in uncovering the richness and vastness of the Portuguese piano repertoire and now hope to contribute to its wider dissemination.
